- Classic Jazz Quartet & Maciej Strzelczyk WIENIAWSKI
"(…) Classic Jazz Quartet - the group from Poznań, has already presented its interpretations of pieces composed by Bach, Vivaldi, Chopin, Debussy, Borodin and Faure within the cycle ‘Classics in jazz’. ‘Wieniawski’ is their brand new record and I have to say that it’s very successful! It is Maciej Strzelyczyk who has a big contribution to that, he – along with pianist Kałużny – is the main improviser here. The choice of pieces has been completed expertly by pianist and flutist Lidia Sieczkowska, who is a rare example in Poland of an artist that combines activity in both chamber and jazz music (…). "

"(…) Wieniawski has been got down by Classic Jazz Quartet, a group composed of experienced jazzmen, broadly educated musician, for which his work is no secret. (…) for this record’s needs ten pieces have been very carefully arranged, leaving literal improvisations for other occasions. (…) I am sure that if Wieniawski walked with the quartet into the recording studio today, his album would sound exactly the same. (…) Perfectly thought through, performed and recorded album (…)."

"(…) During the Sunday concert, jazz ease and humor has very nicely resounded also in the repertoire which was modeled at hoc. This way, along with vintage motives from Bach’s classics, with symptoms of fugue, the “Arabesque” by Debussy along with melancholic “Pavane” by Faure were presented".

"It is worth listening. The authors of preparation had very difficult and important task. The most interesting are impressions on motives of violin master from Lublin".

- "Projekt Chopin" Classic Jazz Quartet
"Chopin arranged for quartet with the flute participation (…) sounded interesting and calming. There is a clear dialog between musicians and it was easy to feel that they know each other, have been playing together for long time already and can perfectly match. (…) Piotr Kałużny’s parts were leading (…) contrasts have shown up many times and surely have caused many smiles (…) Krzysztof Przybyłowicz is perfectionist – as usually – the rhythmic operator (…) I was waiting for the improvisation of Lidia Sieczkowska – her solo in Tarantella astonished all audience! (…)".

„ (…) How great rendering of climate and sense of his album. (…) Classic motive (like a brilliant) in jazz setting. Bach dominates with famous “Badinerie” (…), there is also perfect Debussy. (…) The album is and intimate talk of friends who like classics and jazz, having moreover nice sense of humor. Sufficient to listen attentively in the point of the album, a Bach – like solo of the bassist (…)”.

"The concert of Classic Jazz Quartet – a group from Poznań – within the Koncerte am Bachdenkmal has gathered (…) over thousand people (…). This is another success of Poznań citizens in Leipzig. (…) The success of this concert has in great part depended on Piotr Kałużny arrangements. The second part passed in a mood of jam session. (…) Przybyłowicz has cut the air into slivers under Bach’s nose, bringing the listeners in the state of amusement and enthusiasm at the same time."
